WEALTH-MANAGEMENT

Opportunity

In March 2020, the number of DEMAT accounts in India stood at 4.09 crore which reached 10 crore in august 2022. While a substantial number of these accounts were active initially, a considerable portion turned dormant over time as many new investors did not continue trading actively. These dormant users presented themselves as a solid pool for lead generations for re-acquiring existing retail investors into a wealth management ecosystem with the right PMF

Problem statement

Trust factor plays a crucial role in facilitating transactions greater than the foundational experience and contemplation of investment. No matter how seamless the solution would be, people need to trust in it’s wealth management abilities. : Trust factor plays a crucial role in facilitating transactions greater than the foundational experience and contemplation of investment. Insights

There was a gradual growth in numbers after relationship managers followed up with their network and offered additional information about the process and management tech. Users still struggled to fully understand their portfolio analysis. On follow up conversation with Relationship Managers, users believed that the analysis was personally done for their portfolio and were not okay with the lack of privacy.

Learnings

We should have built a campaign page that would act as a landing page for this service where users could get a detailed explanation and process of the analysis

Phase 2

Building the MVP

Using the insights from growth campaign to build a native experience on Wealthdesk.in that allows the traffic funneled from various partner websites for a Portfolio Analysis

Key Considerations

Simple and seamless journey so that any retail investor with little or no understanding of the product can navigate forward.

Educate the user that it is a paid service and why should they choose us

Leverage existing tech and structures to ensure overall consistency is maintained throughout the journey

Make the analysis report easily comprehensible

Build designs to ensure future scalability; further addition of different asset mapping and recommendation- crypto,
derivative, etc.
